We have a very, very, long driveway with a slope down the mountain and so ruled out gravel--don't want to do concrete because of the expense. I like everything about asphalt except the color. Any ideas?
I know exactly what you mean. I work with a great asphalt contractor here in Richmond, VA and told him he could be a millionaire many times over if he could invent colored asphalt. It is only available in black. Some of my clients choose not to seal it, so it doesn't get the glossy finish the sealer gives. This is not recommended however because the sealer fills the open pores and protects the asphalt against freezing and thawing.
